Monkey Pod Mai Tai

Spring is here! 🌺 and we’ve been craving something and somewhere tropical lately. Anyone else?

We recreated the @monkeypodkitchen Mai Tai at home and it really did the trick to curb our cravings!

We changed a couple things because we don’t have all the ingredients in BC. We’ve linked what we used instead.

Drink Ingredients:

1 oz. @bacardicanada light rum
1 oz. @bacardicanada dark rum
1/2 oz. Almond Orgeat from @brucescountrymarket
1/2 oz. @grandmarniercanada
3/4 oz. Lime juice @santacruzorganic

Honey Liliko’i Foam
1/2 oz. Honey
1 oz. Passion Fruit nectar (liliko’i)
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1 egg white
1.5 oz. Cold water

We also used a nitrous-oxide infuser to do the foam, alternatively you can blend on high speed in a mixer until foamy.
